Kevin Nourse, PhD, PCC

Kevin Nourse, PhD, PCC is the founder and CEO of Nourse Leadership Strategies, where he partners with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership effectiveness, navigate transitions, and achieve meaningful results. His work focuses primarily on healthcare, public sector, and complex organizational environments across Southern California and nationwide.

Kevin brings a rare breadth of experience to his coaching. Before launching his practice in 2001, he held roles spanning finance, human resources, training and development, software development, and consulting. This multidisciplinary background allows him to quickly understand organizational systems, leadership challenges, and the real-world pressures leaders face—translating insight into practical action.

In 2001, Kevin made the intentional decision to leave a successful consulting career to build his own practice. Influenced in part by his experience with flying trapeze—where clarity, trust, and commitment matter more than control—he chose entrepreneurship as a way to fully align his work with his values and vision for leadership development.

Kevin holds a PhD in Human and Organization Development, an MA in Human Resource Development, and a BS in Information Science. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and completed doctoral research on crisis leadership in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

At the core of Kevin's work is a commitment to helping leaders live and lead with intention—balancing performance, purpose, and well-being. He strives to model the same integrated approach he encourages in his clients.

Kevin lives in Palm Springs, California, and works with leaders and teams across the United States. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys hiking, photography, road trips, impressionist oil painting, and volunteer service.
